Technician Members

Technician Members

The Council may elect as a technician member at and during the pleasure of the Council, any person who:

 

  1. Has attained the age of twenty-one years.
  2. Is at the time of one’s application engaged in some branches of the profession in Uganda.
  3. i) Either possesses a technician’s qualification in the surveying profession as approved by the Council.
    ii)  Has passed one of the laid down examinations.

Technician Members have the right to attend any General Meeting of the Institution. They may vote at such meetings, and may elect one of their members to the Council of the Institution.  Technician members are not eligible for election to any other office of the Institution.

No technician member shall be entitled to use any suffix referring to membership
